Special dinner hosted for Rahul dravid at lahori Gate, Delhi

A special dinner was hosted for former cricketer Rahul Dravid at Lahori Gate, a new restaurant in the Meharchand market.
Guests at the party were served a variety of cuisines with the flavour of Dilli 6, Punjab and Lahore. Owner Ghazala said, “The idea was to serve authentic dishes from our grandmothers’ kitchen without going heavy on the ghee or spices and without compromising on the flavour of the dish.This place is a humble tribute to my mother, Begum Imtiaz Akbar, who cooked delicious meals for us with the recipes she had inherited from her Kashmiri-Punjabi origins.” We caught Dravid relishing the biryani and chicken at the dinner table. He said, “Down south you hardly get to eat such food, so I always love Dilli ka khana.”
